Step 1 (by January 26, 2025)

Fill out the online application. In addition to the completed application, it is necessary to provide academic transcripts from the school where you are currently studying. The application form must be completed in English, however, all other materials provided (recommendations, academic transcripts, etc.) can be provided in Kazakh or Russian with an uncertified translation to English. Only fully completed applications will be considered.

Upload your Academic and Non-academic recommendations.

A non-academic recommendation should not be given by a teacher, a family member, or a friend. However, it must be given by someone over the age of 18 who knows you well enough. This person could be, for example, your coach (outside of school) or your supervisor if you work or volunteer.

Please note that recommendations may be provided in Kazakh or Russian with an uncertified translation to English.

Step 2 (by February 13, 2025) 

The UWC Kazakhstan National Committee reviews all applications received. In case of successful completion of the first round, the candidate is invited to take part in a video interview. The results of each round of selection will be sent to candidates by e-mail.

Step 3 (February 22 - March 2, 2025) 

Based on the results of the second round, candidates are invited to the final selection round. The final round is conducted collectively. As part of the final round, candidates may be given assignments in teams, such as group presentations, discussions, or debate sessions. Further details will be provided.

Step 4 (March, 2025)

Informing candidates of the final results of the selection process.
